We are thrilled to announce that our small team has grown just a little bit larger today. Please welcome Topher DeRosia to Easy Digital Downloads.
Topher has joined us to help lead documentation across the entire Easy Digital Downloads ecosystem. As with any large project, documentation is an ever-present, intimidating megalith. With Topher’s expertise and desire to teach, we hope to chip away at the daunting task of documenting everything in Easy Digital Downloads.
He began his web development career by learning every HTML tag in one afternoon in 1994. PHP/MySQL entered the picture in 1999, and then he began a full time freelance career with WordPress in 2010. After spinning up a startup, becoming a super hero at XWP, and rolling out HeroPress, he decided he wanted to shift into more of an educational role in the WordPress community. Now he writes docs and speaks at any conference still willing to have him.
Topher has a wonderful family that supports him in their adventures, you may see them at various WordCamps.
At various times in the past Topher has been a pilot, aircraft mechanic,butcher, librarian, musician, and mountain climber.
Topher’s specialty is knowing a ridiculous amount of utterly worthless trivia.
